AIPM Survey participation

AIPM's 2007 Member Survey has been analysed. Below are some of the more interesting findings. Thanks to the over 1100 respondents, and the 2007 Salary Survey is to be released before the October Conference.

Top Three reasons for joining the AIPM:

“To improve my professionalism”
“The RegPM Program”
“For professional development”

Most respondents highest level of general education are Bachelor and Master degrees. The most common qualifications in Project Management are Diplomas, Masters and advanced Diplomas.

On average respondents earn a base salary of $117,600 per annum.  Self-Employed/ Contractors and people aged 40+ are likely to earn more than the average salary.
