The PMAA Presentation Dinner was held at Pee Wee’s at the Point Beachfront Café on the terrace overlooking Fannie Bay, on Saturday 15 September.The initial planning and organisation was carried out by Amaranth (Ama) King, and this activity will contribute credits to her study in theMaster of Project Management course.Our sincere thanks to Ama for her work.

The MC for the evening was the PMAA coordinator, John Emslie, and guests were welcomed by Chapter President David Tyrrell, fresh from his hospital bed with his broken wrist in a sling.

The guest speaker, Mr Chris Wrangle, Enterprise Performance Improvement Manager for our Gold Sponsor, Raytheon Australia,flew up from Canberra for the dinner.He spoke about Raytheon’s growth, the increasingly significant role of project management in industry today, and the importance of AIPM to the development of the project management philosophy and culture of Raytheon Australia.

He later presented certificates of appreciation to the members of the NT Judging Panel, Dave McHugh, Jenifer Jagielski and Peter Tonkin, and to Amaranth King.
