The Australian Institute of Project Management has established an awards program: the Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA), to recognise, honour and promote outstanding achievements in project and program management across Australia. In the context of the PMAA, project and program management are considered synonymous. The PMAA program has two levels: chapter and national.
