Details of the move: I have joined a growing Project Management team in the Information Service - technology department in EY. My role will be focussed on partnering the varied business practices to implement supporting technology to meet their business KPI's.
A Short Biography: I have progressed through the different ranks within IT from Junior Programmer to Applications and Operations Manager. I ran a global Y2K program and fell in love with the Project Manager aspects of the program and made a conscience decision to leave line management and dedicate my career to the art of Project Management. I have spent the last three years as a Consultant switching from consultancy (health checks, PIRs, project recovery, etc.) to delivery (architectural recommendations and technology delivery). My most recent success has been the integration and centralisation of the Finance and People and Culture (HR) applications across two countries. There were a lot of Change Management, support and maintenance considerations during the life cycle of the project that required particular sensitivity on the people involved in the project and those who would not have a role after the project completed.
