Description:
?23 Years in the ADF, 18 years as a professional electrical and electronics systems engineer, including four years as an engineering manager at sea, seven years as a trials manager and six years as a project Manager. ?I have initiated, run and concluded several projects involving the requirement definition, specification, contracting, procurement, and delivery of complex navigational and communications equipment. ?I have in-depth practical experience of all aspects of running a test program including software testing. ?Extensive experience maintaining submarine equipment and managing submarine technicians in highly regulated defence environments ?This is rounded by practical defence project management and systems engineering experience, backed by commercial 'savvy', stemming from my Graduate Diploma in Management and prolonged interaction with Australian and United States Defence contractors.
