GENERAL MANAGER

The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) is the peak body representing the project management profession in Australia. Based in Sydney and working with the Board of Directors, you will manage a small and dedicated team committed to meeting the needs of our 8000 strong membership base. The role requires a hands on practitioner with strong leadership, advocacy and stakeholder management skills, capable of the following:

 •Implementing strategies & policies as directed by the Board.

•Developing and implementing systems and processes to support an effective operating environment

•Managing the operational budget

•Promoting the project management profession to its key stakeholders, nationally and internationally

Ideally you will:

•Possess qualifications in management/financial management with demonstrated experience in the successful management of the financials of a small to medium size business

•Understand the critical issues influencing the project management profession; and also risk & compliance management

•Have proven achievement of strategic goals.

•Be able to demonstrate your understanding of the issues relating to a not-for-profit member based organization.
