This company is a leading Mechanical and Air conditioning organization in Australia. They have been recognised as one of the most innovative and capable contractors in Australia. They are currently looking for a Senior HVAC Project Manager to run their cutting edge technology projects in Perth CBD. As a Senior Mechanical Project Manager you have to be able to:
- Review Contracts including Payment Terms and Variation Requirements
- Liaise with Clients and Consultants
- Have a sound knowledge of Project Cash Flow
- Communicate with the nominated Project Engineer and Engineering Manager to formalise an Engineering and Drafting Program.
- Prepare, implement and monitor a project specific Quality and Safety Plan for submission
- Negotiate with all suppliers and subcontractors and procure equipment/services.
Ideally, you will have a degree qualification in mechanical engineering or come from a building services, air conditioning or related trade background. You need to have extensive Project Management experience from within the Air-Conditioning Contracting industry (commercial and industrial projects preferably). Working knowledge of environmental design (Green Star Rating, ABGR, etc) and having worked closely with associated Building Services disciplines will be seen as a definite advantage This senior position also offers input into the management of the construction division and business development initiatives. You will be offered an attractive base salary ($100K-$120K) plus superannuation plus car, fuel card, E-tag plus prospects for further advancement and the opportunity to join a large, stable company.
