Guest Speaker will be Ms Kitty Marmanidis.
Kitty Marmanidis is currently Director - Infrastructure for the Headquarters Joint Operations Command Project (valued in the order of $1.3 billion) with Department of Defence, Infrastructure Division, Public Private Partnerships Branch responsible for the delivery of the building and infrastructure components under Public Private Partnership arrangements.
Kitty has enjoyed a diverse career which has included: provision of professional project management and architectural services for medium to large scale projects for a variety of private and public clients; managing multi-discipline teams and coordinating planning and programming for building projects from inception to completion.
Kitty has a Bachelor of Law (Honours), Bachelor of Architecture (Honours), a Bachelor of Architectural Studies, a Master in Applied Science and Graduate Diploma in Project Management and a Master of Arts (Strategic Studies). She was awarded the Project Management Award by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) in 1991 and nominated State Medallist for the Caltex National Scholarship for Women in 1993. Kitty was a member of South Australian Development Policy Advisory Committee in 1998 to 2000. In 2000, Kitty was a member of the Australian Team (Deakin University) Seventh Annual Willem C. VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot 1999-2000 Institute Commercial Law in Vienna, Austria.
Kitty is currently a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors is a certified Master Project Director with the Australian Institute of Project Management and an examiner of the Architects Board. Kitty is also Vice-President of Morshead Home for Veterans and Older Persons, a not for profit organisation.
