Educational Designer / Project Manager Faculty of Health Sciences Learning and Teaching Reference No: 033/0509 The Faculty of Health Sciences is the largest health science faculty in Australia. It consists of 10 Disciplines, 6 research groups and 2 research centers’. It provides professional preparation programs for a comprehensive range of health science professions as well as generic degrees in health science. The faculty is seeking to appoint an Educational Designer/Project Manager to lead the newly formed Educational Design support function. The successful applicant will oversee the educational design team and its projects, will be required to lead and collaboratively work with Faculty Academic staff, to design and develop student centred resources that engage students and staff in quality learning experiences. If you are seeking employment in a challenging field and possess high levels of energy and enthusiasm to motivate a small team and have the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels then this position is for you. Your experience in the design of student centred learning experiences and demonstrated success in leading and management multidisciplinary teams will allow you to play an important part in this exciting, important and innovative new project. Experience in health is advantageous. The position is full-time fixed term for 12 months; however may be extended due to the availability of funding, subject to the completion of a satisfactory probation period for new appointees. Membership of a University approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment for new appointees. Remuneration package: up to $89,265 - $100,671 pro rata (which includes a base salary Level 8 $75,430 - $85,069 p.a., leave loading and up to 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation).
