Prescience Technology is an Australian Project and Program Management services organisation that has successfully delivered enhanced project value to multiple clients in the Construction, Rail, Energy, Power Generation, Insurance, Local, State and Federal Government sectors. As a result of our expanding reputation and growth, our Client base is rapidly growing and we have a number of excellent opportunities to extend the Project and Program Management Services practice. We therefore have an urgent need for talented and tenacious Engineering Project Managers who understand how to manage and deliver successful projects in a multitude of challenging environments. To be successful in this role, you will need: • 5+ years mining, oil & gas, engineering or infrastructure Project Management experience. • Demonstrated experience applying strong PM discipline (such as PM BoK, Prince2 or other AIPM approved constructs) to controlling, directing, documenting, negotiating and agreeing scope. • Strong ability to manage the conversion of scope into cost and schedule baselines. • Strong team building and team management skills. • Superior negotiation, contract and scope management skills, particularly when interfacing with specialists. • Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels. • Experience and confidence in interacting with executive level stakeholders (both internal and external). • Ability to build and maintain client relationships. • Consulting experience with a professional services firm is highly desirable but not essential. • A formal project management qualification is highly desirable. • Knowledge of commercial organisations, as well as local and state government environments, will be highly regarded.
