PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY INSURANCE FACILITY FOR AIPM MEMBERS OPEN FOR BUSINESS NOW

The Australian Institute of Project Management have been working with Insurance Brokers Perryman O’Grady Philpott Pty Ltd. to develop a Professional Indemnity Facility for the benefit of its members.

We are pleased to announce that the Professional Indemnity Insurance Facility is now ready to accept new business effective 15 June 2006.

Features of the Facility

• Cover Designed Specifically for Project Managers –The cover is based on the broader Civil Liability Wording and has been developed to respond to specific claims that Project Managers actually encounter.
• Project Management Knowledgeable Underwriters (Insurers) – The underwriters have  written Professional Risks in excess of 30 years with a focus on the Project Management profession.
• Knowledgeable Brokers – Perryman O’Grady Philpott Pty Ltd have been involved in Professional Risks in excess of 30 years and have worked with Project Managers in excess of 15 Years. You do not need to explain your profession to us, we understand what you do.
• Security– Underwriters have been “A” Rated (AM Best) Authorized Insurer Security.
• Discounted Premiums - Substantial Premium Discounts for AIPM Members with further discounts for RegPM and PMO Accreditations.

How Do I Get A Quotation?

In the early stages and to simplify matters, we will use your existing documentation where possible, so we will require

• A copy of your current renewal proposal
• A copy of the Curriculum Vitae of Directors, Partners and/or Key Staff
• Capability Statement/ Company Brochure (if available)
• Website Address (if available)

How Long Will It Take to Get a Quotation?

We would anticipate confirmation of terms within 7 days of receipt of the proposal. Requests should be emailed to insurance@aipm.com.au.
