The Lifeline Head Office Renovation Project came about as Lifeline's operations were extending and the original fit-out was no longer suitable for its business requirements. As a Not-for-Profit organisation, Lifeline Australia had a very limited budget available for the project.
The project team set about delivering refurbished office accommodation for Lifeline at the lowest possible cost whilst maintaining Lifeline's continual business operations.
The constraints of Lifeline's budgetary and operational requirements set a respectable project challenge. The Project Team established an underlying project culture, taking pride in supporting this community organisation which assisted in the success of Cost and Integration Management initiatives. The project team worked to implement a variety of management strategies to ultimately achieve the desired outcomes.
The Project Team met or exceeded all of the Project Objectives including delivering the project for 75% of the expected cost.
