Corporate Membership of AIPM

Becoming a corporate member of AIPM means you will be joining the largest project management community in Australia with over 8,000 members.

There is no additional cost to your organisation when you become a corporate member of the AIPM.

You simply need to be a business with an interest in progressing project management with in your organisation.

Before you can gain the discounts offered to members you must have a minimum of six (6) employees registered with AIPM.

Two membership levels are currently available

Minor Corporate Member - Organisations that sponsor 6-29 employees’ as AIPM members benefit from a 20% discount on membership fees.

Major Corporate Member - Organisations that sponsor 30 or more employees’ as AIPM members benefit from a 25% discount on membership fees.

Plus the $121 membership application fee is waived for Major Corporate employees when applying for membership

NB. Only the individual member can make changes to their membership record by informing the AIPM support office.

The individual member remains responsible for maintaining his or her membership with AIPM and it continues to belong to them if they leave your organisation.

How can you apply for AIPM Corporate membership?

As the representative of your organisation please complete the Corporate Membership form online.

We require the name of the contact person from your organisation and the area in which they work for communication purposes with AIPM. Also include a list of the employees that you would like included under your corporate membership.

Once you have applied online our Corporate Services Administrator, Leanne Poynter, will be in contact with you to provide the relevant information.

Benefits of Registering as an AIPM Corporate Member

To gain maximum benefit from your membership it is important that you become actively involved with the benefits offered through AIPM.

Involvement with AIPM on a corporate level allows your project staff to gain the appreciation deserved for the great work they are doing.  

Sponsoring AIPM events such as the national conference, Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA) and our magazine, The Project Manager, is a great way for organisations to gain exposure to other industries and benefit from networking opportunities.

Contributing to events such as the PMAA’s at state and national level provides a platform for organisations to showcase their projects and win awards for excellence in project management.

Our Certification Program (RegPM), Continuous Development Program (CPD), event networking opportunities, Information Resource Centre (IRC) and discounts to membership are valuable benefits for members who join under the banner of an organisation.

Involvement with AIPM supports our mission to promote and progress project management in Australia.  By supporting AIPM you are inturn supporting the growth and up skilling of your project managers and teams who will deliver bottom line results through improved project management practices.

AIPM is about improving performance in the delivery of projects across all industries and assisting growth in the wider project management community through visibility.

Corporate member involvement means encouraging your project staff to –

  • Become members of AIPM and actively acquire their RegPM
  • Manage their (CPD) through up-skilling, attending courses and events
  • Networking with AIPM members from other industries. 
  • Participating in State Chapter events as a speaker or by attending
  • Submitting papers and sponsoring the PMAA or attending the functions
  • Sponsoring and attending AIPM National Conference

Apart from the financial benefit for members who join under the banner of a corporate, the true benefits come through company and individual participation.

  • Corporate members receive a certificate acknowledging their involvement with AIPM
  • Use of the AIPM corporate logo
  • Assistance with the implementation of an internal awards program for project managers, project team members and project directors. This program can be linked to the Project Management Achievement Awards program.
  • Project Managed Organisation (PMO) Award program, which recognises those organisations which have embarked on the process to continually improve and standardise their enterprise-wide Project Management capabilities.
  • Free advertising of your internal project management positions on the AIPM Project Manager Jobs Register

  • Assistance with locating endorsed Project Management Courses for your staff
