Welcome to the Community Network Program (CNP)

Established in 2007, the CNP is a volunteer based arm of the AIPM which was developed to assist community groups with Project Management.

In so doing the CNP offers AIPM members the chance to gain, or extend, their Project Management experience, enhance their professional networks while at the same time helping with worthwhile causes and assisting the wider community. Members must log into the website to register their availability.

The CNP is open to the following groups of AIPM membership:

·         Project Managers

·         Senior Project Managers

·         project management students

·         corporate and business members.

It is an initiative for qualified Project Managers who wish to volunteer their time and or/knowledge to assist community based projects.

The CNP is also open to senior Project Managers, who are no longer working full-time, but look to remain actively involved in ongoing community based work and in so doing pass on their extensive knowledge and experience to the next generation of Project Managers.

The CNP is also a highly valuable vehicle for project management students, working towards their qualifications as well as AIPM Project Management registration. Project management students are afforded the opportunity to be proactively engaged in community based projects and at the same time, gain further experience, knowledge and contacts.

Lastly, the CNP is a community based program open to AIPM corporate and business members who can utilise the CNP as a comprehensive project management training tool for their staff and at the same time ‘give back’ to the wider community.

As it develops it is envisaged the CNP will become a well-known and valuable forum where community groups, non profit organisations and even individuals can list their projects requiring project management expertise and support.

The above groups can then volunteer their time, knowledge and personnel, as required.
