The IRC Research Library is used to supply project management research material such as articles or papers.

IRC Document Delivery Guidelines:

Sourcing/copying soft copy articles can be a time-consuming process. Please consider the following:

1) Under the current requirements of the Copyright Act, it is AIPM Information Resource Centre policy to photocopy on behalf of its members only when one online copyright declaration is recieved from that member for each article requested. i.e. Each article requires an individual request.

2) Receipt of this copyright declaration is also required for the efficient processing of the request, as well as for statistical purposes.

3) Simply copying and pasting article details from IRC bibliographies (or elsewhere) into an email and sending it is not acceptable. Also, please do not request every single article from one bibliography - it definitely pays to be selective in what you request.

4) The following rules and conditions also apply:

• Only 1 article from a particular journal issue can be copied, unless the articles are on the same related topic
• The article copied must be for research or study purposes only
• A copy of this work must not have already have been previously supplied by the IRC
• There is currently a limit of 20 article requests at a time per member, due to greatly increased demand. If this limit is exceeded, in order to provide a fair service to other members who are also requesting documents, the IRC reserves the right to limit the amount of article requests actually processed per member

Delivery Conditions: Documents available in soft-copy (eg PDF) format will be emailed within 2 days of the receipt of the requests - usually on the same day.

Photocopies take longer overall to process, and due to the time also taken for postal delivery, can take 5-10 days to arrive.  

IRC Document Delivery Statistics:

Demand for Document Supply has risen steadily this year, and the above guidelines are unfortunately now necessary in order to cope with this increased demand. From January to the end of September 2005, a total of 3,300 documents had been supplied to AIPM members.
