Project Managed Organisation (PMO) PRINT

Ergon Energy

ERGON Energy has become only the third company in Queensland to earn the title of “Project Managed Organisation” from the Australian Institute of Project Management.

A plaque recognising the achievement was recently presented by the AIPM’s Queensland chapter president Darryl Gomersall, who said it came following an extensive assessment of Ergon Energy’s processes and capabilities.
“It’s a recognition of the maturity of an organisation and how it manages its projects.
“It means an organisation is managing its business and business outcomes using project management principles.”

Ergon Energy is now allowed to use the AIPM logo and the words 'Project Managed Organisation' or 'Recognised as a Project Managed Organisation by the Australian Institute of Project Management' on its documents.
The Brisbane City Council and Powerlink Queensland are the only other two companies in the state who have attained the same status.
