Victorian Chapter Announces Lenihan Bursary recipients
As part of it’s ‘New Members Night’ and annual ‘Reg PM Certification Award’, the Victorian Chapter made the inaugural “Donal Lenihan Student Bursary Award’ presentation.
Two students chosen by the chapter from nominations made by invited tertiary institutions in Victoria, received the awards consisting of $500.00 and a one year free AIPM Student Membership.
Donal Lenihan is a sadly missed member of the Chapter Council who died suddenly almost three years ago. Donal was a lecturer in Project Management for over ten years and he was a great advocate of the profession.
Now his family , at the instigation of Donal’s widow Roseann and with the support of the Victorian Chapter of the AIPM, created an ongoing legacy in his name to give Project Management Students encouragement to join and excel in the profession.
The inaugural awards were received by
- Ms. Giuseppina (Josie) Lucia Coraci from the Victorian University
- Ms. Lynda Bourne from the RMIT
