AIPM Awards Life Fellowship
|
30/11/2009 - At the AIPM Annual General Meeting held in Adelaide during the 2009 National Conference, Lynn Crawford was awarded a Life Fellowship of the Institute. Due to her busy schedule, Lynn was unable to attend the conference in Adelaide. She was therefore invited to attend a dinner with members of the AIPM Board and NSW Chapter Council on Saturday, 28 November. During the dinner, the Chair of the Council of Fellows, Brian Kooyman presented Lynn with a commemorative plaque.

AIPM WA releases response to The Works Reform—Business Solution Plan
|
30/10/2009 - Earlier this year the WA Treasurer, Troy Buswell endorsed a series of initiatives which aim to improve the efficiency and value for money that government and taxpayers receive from the State's $20 billion portfolio of building assets. The Works Reform—Business Solution Plan is publicly available from www.bmw.wa.gov.au. In response to concerns raised by members, AIPM sponsored an industry consultation process, and developed the following response, which will be submitted to State government.

Women in Project Management Careers Opportunity Forum

29/09/2009 - On 21 September 2009, the Women in Project Management Special Interest Group of the AIPM ACT Chapter held the Women in Project Management Careers Opportunity Forum, at ADFA. The forum was officially opened by the Her Excellency Quentin Bryce AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia. The event was incredibly successful, with over 150 people in attendance.
