The development of the Rocks Riverside Park on Brisbane western outskirts and the restoration of two significant heritage buildings are among the winners at this year’s Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Awards.

The AIPM Queensland Chapter announced its winners during the 2004 Project Management Achievement Awards in Brisbane on Friday night (10 September).

Winners on the night were:

AIPM recognised the park as an outstanding example of the Council’s achievements in managing the construction and refurbishment of Brisbane’s built spaces and parklands.

The RocksRiversidePark, completed in December 2003, involved a major rehabilitation of a former industrial site and was the first major park in Brisbane’s outer western suburbs.
