Steve is an accomplished leader of complex projects and programmes across functional areas and between organizations. For the last four years Steve has been providing his services in an ‘embedded’ consulting capacity to assist organisations deliver outcomes to meet strategic goals. In the last two years he has worked on the $1.8bn Adelaide Desalination Project from the early stages, through the tendering process, development approval, and appointment of the contractors who will deliver the First Water in December 2010. He is currently SA Water’s Manager for Project Controls and Reporting and leads a team of 22 staff.
Steve volunteers his services to the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), where he is a Director of the Board, and President of the South Australian Chapter.
Steve spent his early career working in the Australian biotechnology sector, and the UK pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. He has an impressive publication record in a number of international journals, and still writes the occasional paper. He has a PhD and MBA from the University of Adelaide, and is a Registered Project Manager (AIPM).
