The Student Award program has two categories.

Student Medal

The Student Medal is awarded to the student who is best able to demonstrate how their course work or research contributes to, or has the potential to contribute to, the advancement of project management.

The winning student will receive a medal, a cash prize to be set by each Chapter, and one year's subscription to the AIPM as an Associate member, (unless the applicant is able to provide evidence that they meet the criteria for Member status).

All submissions will be published by the AIPM on its website. Additionally, the winning submission and other selected submissions may also be published in the AIPM's magazine, 'The Project Manager'.

Outstanding Student Award

The Outstanding Student Award is awarded to the student who has shown outstanding achievement in the application of project management principles and techniques during their course work. Sumbissions for this award are to be made by the student's lecturer. Only one student may be nominated by each faculty from each educational institution.
