Changes to AIPM RegPM Certification

The Australian Institute of Project Management has announced process improvements to the CPD program intended to streamline the recertification process for RegPMs.

As a result of feedback we received as a part of our annual Member Satisfaction Survey, we have looked at ways to make it easier for certified project professionals to log and maintain their CPD points.

Self-managed CPD

We understand that as a busy project professional it can be challenging to maintain an online log of CPD points. As a result, as of 1 July 2017 certified members will be self-managing their own Continuous Professional Development through a personal CPD log. Random audits will take place, to ensure the profession continues to enjoy the reputation from which all Members benefit.

RegPMs will still be required to attain 70 CPD points over the course of three years to maintain their certification.

Attendance at any AIPM events (such as Chapter Events, PM Webinars or the National Conference) will still have the allocated CDP points automatically credited to your MyAIPM profile on the AIPM website.

Benefits of AIPM Certification

Becoming a RegPM certified member ensures that you put yourself ahead of the pack, and lets current and future employers know that you have the skills and competencies to meet their needs. Other benefits include:
