Finalists announced for the 2020 Project Management Achievement Awards

The awards recognise, honour, and promote outstanding achievements in program and project leadership.

The Australian Institute of Project Management has announced the finalists of this year’s Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA). Celebrating its 20th year, the PMAAs exist to recognise, honour, and promote outstanding achievements in program and project leadership.

There is an exceptional line up of finalists for this year’s awards. With a total of 179 high calibre submissions from a diverse range of organisations, the finalists across 13 categories include QLD Government, Department of Defence, Tas Ports, QUT, Victoria University, Origin Energy, Landcom, Colliers, ACT Government, RPS, Aurecon, GHD, Telstra, NAB, NT Government, Turner & Townsend and City of Port Phillip.

Elizabeth Foley, CEO of AIPM, said “I would like to congratulate each of the finalists of this year’s awards. This year we received one of the highest number of entrants since the inception of the awards in 2000.”

“The entries showcase exceptional project success and profile the highly skilled leaders driving these projects forward. We are looking forward to celebrating with all the finalists and revealing the winners in our first ever fully virtual event. There has never been a more pertinent time to celebrate project success as we look to project leaders to guide our economy out of the recession” Ms Foley said.

The 2020 Project Management Achievement Awards winners will be announced in a virtual event on 25 November 2020. Further Information on the event can be accessed here.

Elizabeth Foley, CEO of AIPM is available for comment on request.
