Inaugural National Roadshows conclude

AIPM's inaugural complimentary member-only National Roadshow series of events has just concluded, with rave reviews for the content and quality of Michael Young's presentations on the topic of Sustainable Project Management.

The National Roadshow events visited every capital city around the country, where AIPM Director Michael Young FAIPM CPPD delivered his acclaimed presentation on the role project managers can play in a sustainable future.

In the lead-up to the events, AIPM members were invited to attend the complimentary event and the response was overwhelming. Almost 750 members around the country registered to attend the events, with over 100 registrants in four of the eight chapters.

AIPM's National Manager Membership and Events, Jannene Stephens-Roberts, delivered more good news off the back of the successful events by announcing that the National Roadshow series will now become an annual offering to members. "The feedback from our members over the past couple of years was that they wanted access to more complimentary, high-quality events. As a result of that feedback we created the National Roadshow, and after the success of the first series we have now made it a strategic imperative to deliver the National Roadshow on an annual basis.", Ms Stephens-Roberts said. "The topics and presenters will continue to evolve, and we hope that more members are able to attend next year and in to the future".

The AIPM would like to thank Michael for his time and efforts in delivering the presentation, as well as offering our thanks to all of our members who took the time to attend.

Please note that the AIPM continues to diversify and improve the portfolio of events we offer our members, with our PM Webinars now adding more events to meet demand and our 2017 National Conference recently announcing that Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK, AFC (Ret’d) will be delivering one of its keynote presentations.

As a part of his presentation, Michael referred to the GPM® P5™ Standard for Sustainability in Project Management. The Standard can be downloaded here for free.
