Sir Angus Houston to present at #AIPM2016

Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK, AFC (Ret’d) was today announced as the latest Keynote Speaker for the AIPM 2016 Inaugural Regional Conference in conjunction with IPMA.

Sir Angus is a former Chief of the Air Force and more recently the Chief of the Australian Defence Force, and he joins a list of other leading project management minds as a Keynote Speaker at the conference.

Sir Angus will bring incredible project management insights, which were developed both over his time in Defence as well as from his current role as Chairman of Airservices Australia. In March 2014 he was appointed to head the Joint Agency Coordination Centre during the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, and in the Australia Day Honours of 2015 he was awarded a Knighthood for his extraordinary and pre-eminent achievement and merit in service to Australia.

Sir Angus is also Chair of the Council for the Order of Australia, the Defence South Australia Advisory Board, the Canberra Symphony Orchestra and the University of New South Wales Canberra Advisory Board. He is a Board member of the Lowy Institute for International Policy, the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, the ANZAC Centenary Public Fund Board and Greater Good Canberra.
