The Ian Potter Wild Play Garden - RPS
NSW WINNER 2018
The Ian Potter Children’s Wild Play Garden (the Garden), named after the Project’s primary donor, offers a natural “play space” designed to reconnect children with nature by engaging the five senses and build their self-confidence, resilience and teamwork. The wild play features:
  • dry creek beds
  • artesian water play area
  • bamboo forest
  • banksia tunnels
  • turtle mounds and
  • the Parkland’s first treehouse. 
The Garden was officially opened on 18 October 2017 by the Environment Minister Gabrielle Upton and is highly rated by the media and community. The project value is circa $5M.
