Casuarina Square is the largest shopping centre in the Northern Territory, located in the northern suburbs of Darwin. It had been identified that Centre car parks were not functioning efficiently and prime bays were often occupied with cars that are not users of the Centre and retail staff from the Centre. In addition, some areas of the under-cover car park were hot spots for anti-social activity.
This project successfully developed and implemented a strategy to optimise the performance of the car parks to ensure that customers are able to utilise prime parking spaces and address the identified issues to provide a positive customer experience.
