QLD WINNER 2019
DVConnect is Queensland’s only 24/7 crisis telephone service for domestic violence support. Over 5000 calls a month are made to DVConnect and too many of these calls were going unanswered. Outdated, inefficient systems and heavily manual processes were contributing factors. The implementation of contemporary and integrated systems increased the capacity and providing a better user experience. A modernised website and formalised social media strategy, new telephony and call center software and a client records management system has contributed to an amazing 20% increase in response rates. Now more people experiencing domestic violence are able to be helped.
