QLD WINNER 2019

Queensland Urban Utilities is implementing a new Program Management Approach (PMA) Operating Model to transition from an asset-centric to customer centric organisation. The purpose of this project was to analyse the five-year capital investment of $1.5 billion and establish an efficient capital delivery and procurement strategy to maximise the capital delivery efficiencies. The project was complex in terms of establishing the delivery frameworks and undertaking the procurement transactions within stringent timelines and through extensive stakeholder management. The project was successfully completed by establishing a “regionalised catchment-based” delivery strategy and engaging the treatment plants framework delivery contractors.
