TAS WINNER 2019

CSIRO boosts Australia's potential through science, providing positive economic, environmental and social impacts. Working with stakeholders around the world and on the ocean, the CSIRO Marine National Facilities(MNF) undertake marine research using its Research Vessel (RV), Investigator. The current scheduling system was inefficient, limiting the potential for the vessel and its voyages. The project aimed to implement a new system to improve the voyage planning process, both for the scientists and the business. The project has delivered significant improvements that will enable additional research and help ensure the long-term viability and prosperity of Australian and global marine industries.
