Six steps to becoming certified with RegPM™

1.

Join AIPM

Access to our RegPM™ program is available only to full Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) members. Non-members can join as a member and apply for certification at the same time. Join AIPM and apply for certification.

2.

Apply for RegPM™ certification

If you’re an AIPM member and do not currently hold RegPM™ status, apply for certification here.

3.

Assign an assessor

Your RegPM™ certification requires a formal assessment of your capabilities and experience. AIPM can allocate an assessor for you, or you can nominate an approved assessor to conduct your assessment. View assessors.

4.

Complete your assessment

You will be required to answer questions and gather evidence to document competency at the level applied for. Your completed assessment record book must be submitted to your assessor within six months of your application date.

5.

Interview with your assessor

After assessing your submission and holding an interview with you, your assessor will recommend the outcome of your application.

6.

Your RegPM™ certification is complete

If successful, your name will be placed on our online register of certified project professionals. You’ll also receive a certificate of registration which is valid for three years.

Maintaining and progressing your RegPM™ certification

To maintain your RegPM™ status, you’ll be required to undertake continuous professional development (CPD) to renew your certification. Your AIPM membership includes access to a range of professional development resources to support your learning.
