Grant Avery Grant is an international consultant, speaker, and author on Quality Assurance and the reduction of risk in major, high-risk projects. Grant is a founding member of the Wellington Project Quality Assurance Forum and his company Outcome Insights is listed on NZ Government’s MBIE panel for Consultancy Services (Assurance Services) companies. In 2007 Grant selected and led for the NZ State Services Commission the implementation of the Gateway® major projects review process in NZ government. Before establishing Outcome Insights in 2012 Grant was Director Project Advisory for KPMG in Wellington. Grant is the author of “Project Management, Denial, and the Death Zone” an award-winning book on risk homeostasis and the reduction of risk in high-risk projects.
