Project Controls Tooling | The Shadow Technology Arm

Project Controls Community of Practice

How can we improve the engagement and collaboration of our teams with BAU to fully support our tools?

Within the PMO and Program/Project Management, technology and systems are essential, but often, aren't appropriately factored into Program or Business as Usual support considerations. There are many reasons for this, but essentially this leads to a shadow organisation of tech support, change management and configuration which often lives outside of all standard technology processes and support teams.

This event will talk through some scenarios of tooling implementation, particularly pitfalls, lessons learnt and how to improve the engagement/collaboration of our teams with core IT capabilities in organisations.

  • Keith Farrell, Technical Director, Project Controls Lead (Victoria) | AIPM Project Controls CoP (Facilitator)
