Maroondah City Council will be hosting the LG Community of Practice forum to discuss its experiences with integrating sustainability into its projects, the presentation will be interactive and provide other LG organisations the opportunity to discuss the successes, lessons learnt, challenges in order to knowledge share amongst the group. The presentation on Maroondah City Councils experience with sustainability requirements in projects will be jointly delivered by the Integrated Planning and Assets teams and will include interaction to hear from other LG organisations to share their experiences, themes to include policy's and guidelines, financial and procurement considerations, environment and maintenance impacts, future proofing and many others along with working examples of successfully delivered projects. There will also be the opportunity after the presentation to tour Maroondah City Councils new 5-star Green Star designed administration facility.
