PMO Value and Experiences

Organisational success in the contemporary business model is measured by:
- The ability to deliver strategic objectives (achieve alignment),
- Ensuring value for money (efficiency, consistency and prudency).

Often this is while managing resource and time constraints for deliverables and outcomes in a dynamic environment subject to change. Business decision making cycles have shortened, organisations need:
- A range of accurate information obtained quickly,
- Analysis and effective communication to support decision making for projects, program and portfolio levels (where targets are set, and performance is measured),
- A functional Project Management Office (PMO) becomes essential to improve large and complex organisations.

Join Chris Hughes as he shares his experiences with a range of PMOs and their organisations. He will look at some common questions, challenges, experiences, successes, lessons and thoughts, and will share these for discussion with the PMO community.
